West Monroe’s Christina Powers, a partner in the firm’s Technology practice, and Melanie Prestridge, a partner in the Operations Excellence practice, have each been honored as one of Consulting Magazine’s® 2022 Women Leaders in Technology. The recognition program spotlights the impact women in the technology consulting fields make every day. The publication selected leaders in technology for excellence in distinct categories—Christina is recognized in the Future Leader category and Melanie in Excellence in Client Services.
Christina leads the firm’s Cybersecurity Advisory for Private Equity (CAPE) program, which she built and developed. The growing program provides ongoing visibility into security practices and risks across a private equity firm’s portfolio and helps investors determine where they need to influence changes. She also conducts cybersecurity due diligence for potential acquisitions. Christina is a two-time winner of the Sequoia Award, the firm’s most prestigious award for leadership and mentorship, and serves on the board of the non-profit Ukrainian Youth Camping Organization.
“I am incredibly proud of Christina for being named to yet another impressive list for top technology talent,” said Cory Chaplin, managing partner in West Monroe’s Technology practice. “Her commitment to developing the next generation of technology leaders makes West Monroe a better firm and place to work. And she does all this while serving as a trusted advisor to our private equity clients."
As companies continue to become digital and adopt new technologies, cyberattacks are finding new ways to cripple business operations, and Christina’s expert counsel helps navigate these pressing cybersecurity risks.
