West Monroe’s Kirsten Lentz and Ken Goebel announced as winners of the M&A Advisor's 12th Annual Emerging Leaders Awards
West Monroe, a national business and technology consulting firm, is honored to have two members of the Mergers & Acquisitions practice, Kirsten Lentz and Ken Goebel, recognized as winners of the M&A Advisor’s Emerging Leaders Award. Lentz and Goebel, both senior managers in West Monroe’s M&A practice, have been selected for their noteworthy business accomplishments and community involvement from a pool of hundreds of nominees by an independent judging panel of distinguished business leaders.

Kirsten’s expertise in carveout and merger integration experience helps her clients navigate complex transactions, including leading a carve-out to integration that won M&A Advisor’s Deal of the Year award in 2019. She also started West Monroe’s Women in M&A Initiative to focus on increasing the representation of women on the team, which has grown by over 50%.
Ken leads the M&A practice in the San Francisco office and contributes to the strategic growth and direction in his local market, all while leading dozens of transactions valued over $10 billion in 2020. He is on the Board of Directors of Boys Hope Girls Hope Colorado, helping diverse, high-achieving students in need, prepare for college and careers.
Launched in 2010 as the "40 Under 40 Awards", The M&A Advisor's Emerging Leaders Awards is renowned globally for recognizing great achievements and leadership among mergers and acquisitions, financing, and turnaround professionals. The M&A Advisor created the program to honor the significant contributions of accomplished, future leaders in a robust industry of dealmakers, promote mentorship and professional development of these individuals, and celebrate their accomplishments and contributions to progress in the industry. Evaluation of the nominees and selection of the winners was completed by prominent members and experts in the M&A, finance, and turnaround community.
The awards will be presented at the 2021 Future of Dealmaking Summit in New York City on Wednesday, October 20.
