Pace Harmon, an IT and business process transformation and outsourcing advisory firm acquired by West Monroe in November 2020, was recently included on the Vault Top 50 Consulting Firms list for 2021. Pace Harmon was ranked No. 36 among all firms, and No. 6 on the list of best firms for overall business outlook.
Vault surveys more than 16,000 consulting professionals as the basis of their rankings, asking employees to rate their firms on elements such as culture, compensation, work/life balance, overall business outlook, satisfaction, and other employment factors. Pace Harmon employees were surveyed prior to West Monroe’s acquisition and consistently cited development opportunities and early exposure to clients and firm leadership as factors that made the firm a great place to work.
"It is an honor for the Pace Harmon team to be recognized on the Vault Consulting 50, and we are proud to continue our legacy with West Monroe, a like-minded firm that is employee-first and dedicated to excellent client delivery,” said Marc Tanowitz, a West Monroe managing director and former Pace Harmon executive.
Our shared values and fluency in both technology and business is the core of our being a great place to work and creating sustainable business value for our clients.

As part of the survey, consultants are also asked to rate the prestige of peer firms and to select the strongest firms in more than a dozen specific practice areas; for the prestige and practice area rankings, consultants were unable to rate or vote for their own firms. While West Monroe did not take part in the employee survey, the firm was also named to Vault’s list of top energy consulting firms as distinguished by its peers.
