West Monroe is proud to rank No. 5 on the Chicago Tribune’s Top Workplaces list for the large company category, up from No. 26 in 2021. This is West Monroe’s 13th consecutive year being named to the list.
West Monroe was recognized in this annual workplace report, a combined effort between the Chicago Tribune and its partner, Energage, which surveys employees to measure several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection.
“Being named a top workplace in Chicago for 13 years by the Chicago Tribune is an incredible honor,” said Tom Hulsebosch, West Monroe’s Chicago office leader. "We had to pivot how we support each other and our clients this past year as we have gone from almost entirely remote work to a hybrid work environment where we are doing work at the office, at our client’s site, and in our homes."
Staying true to a core value of ‘People-First’ has been our North Star as we have adapted our ways of working and employee policies. This award goes to all our people that have enabled us to continue to build the next generation of leaders, deliver excellent client services, and safely navigate a pandemic. ”
Founded in 2002 in Chicago, West Monroe has grown to more than 2,400 employees, with nearly 1,200 employees in the Chicago office, and aims to hire an additional 350 people in Chicago in 2023. Our Chicago office serves a multitude of clients in the financial services, private equity, consumer and industrial products, energy and utilities, retail, high-tech and software, and healthcare and life sciences industries.
Like all West Monroe offices, the Chicago team is a highly participatory and collaborative culture marked by frequent events, transparent employee communications, a strong commitment to serving the local community through its corporate social responsibility program, a deep focus on inclusion and diversity through employee-led resource groups, and regular recognition awards.
The rankings were revealed at a virtual awards ceremony on November 3.
