West Monroe is proud to announce that Lauren Morrissey, executive assistant to West Monroe COO Doug Armstrong, has received the 2021 Chicagoland Admin Spirit Award.
The Admin Award is the first and only public recognition program of its kind in the country that focuses specifically on recognizing and rewarding the achievements, dedication, and importance of Administrative Professionals. The Spirit Award celebrates Admins that are the “heartbeat” of their companies, and consistently exhibit a positive, can-do outlook and is the person that people are drawn to during good days and bad for their optimism, enthusiasm, and positivity.
“I can’t think of anyone else who I’ve worked with over my 35 years in professional services who is more deserving of recognition for making an impact on the workplace through her professional spirit than Lauren,” said Doug Armstrong, COO of West Monroe.
“From leading and developing our EA community to arranging seamless virtual collaborations in the midst of an unprecedented pandemic, she truly exemplifies West Monroe’s ‘can do’ culture.”
Lauren joined West Monroe in 2018 from Northern Trust. She has been so highly effective in her role that West Monroe’s EA team expanded from four to 15, a decision largely made because Lauren demonstrated the value an EA brings to the executive suite. She routinely wears “a million hats,” and does it all with her trademark positive attitude, approaching every task with warmth and humor.
The Admin Awards honored all recipients on June 5, 2021 via a virtual 'Good as Gold' Gala celebration ceremony.
