He led the strategy and implementation of a comprehensive data platform for a large retailer that reduced its financial close process by 50% and provided the ability to report financials at a more detailed level for the first time—insight that the company can now use to fine-tune its growth strategy.

He’s able to propose, build, and lead large-scale data and analytics initiatives thanks to his experience as a technical project manager and architect and subject matter expert in data visualization and data platforms. Despite the complexity of his work, he brings an easygoing, passionate, and well-informed mentality to projects that keeps teams focused on accelerating the path to impact.
He joined West Monroe in 2014 from Protiviti, where he was in the IT Consulting practice. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business and a master’s degree in information science from Indiana University.

He’s a big sports fan who doesn’t just enjoy watching games. You can also find him playing basketball, 16-inch softball, and flag football. He once had a Chicago sports blog and wrote for a college basketball website.
Where Adam makes an impact
He loves mentoring the next generation of leaders. For the past several years, he has been the staffing coordinator for the Chicago office’s Data Engineering and Analytics team, giving him the opportunity to understand everyone’s career interests and skills in order to place people in interesting, challenging, and enjoyable roles.
His propensity for spearheading productive teams extends into the community. He has captained a team for the annual JDRF (the world’s largest nonprofit funder of type 1 diabetes research) One Walk for the past dozen years and has frequently finished as a top-10 fundraiser in the area.
