Economic value is the name of the game—and clients can count on Chris for that. He brings an exceptional track record for delivering EBITDA growth strategies and audit quality productivity, while achieving world-class employee engagement and health/safety/environmental benchmarks.
He recently led an order-to-cash process transformation that improved EBITDA margin by 150 basis points over nine months. He also led implementation of an operating system to drive productivity and reliability improvements, creating a $42 million EBITDA benefit over three years. And he improved OTIF from 67% to 92% in three months, with no increase in working capital, by introducing lean supply chain techniques and demand-driven-processes to a historically supply-driven business.
His experience—which spans global enterprises and private equity-sponsored companies across the industrial, consumer, and business services sectors—includes improving effectiveness and efficiency of general and administrative functions, implementing operating and ERP systems to sustain productivity gains, boosting customer satisfaction in service segments, increasing business reliability, and optimizing networks.
Prior to joining West Monroe, he worked in the private equity services group at Alvarez & Marsal. He previously was vice president of operations for Altium Packaging. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech, a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Cornell University, and an MBA from the College of William & Mary.
Chris has held engineering, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and supply chain roles across North America, Europe, and Asia. He enjoys traveling and exploring the outdoors in his free time as well. Half Dome at Yosemite is a favorite destination–he has been to the top twice.
He thrives on helping his team(s) win—a trait confirmed by the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator test. As an ENFJ, Chris is driven to find purpose and help others succeed, making him a natural leader.
