Dave’s approach to tackling complex functional transformation challenges and creating long-term value is simple: he stays grounded in the client’s unique business, culture, process, and technology environment so the solution works. This is how he has delivered more than $1 billion in cost savings, synergies, and value for his clients. He has led numerous initiatives to optimize back-office and customer-facing services, often generating savings of more than 50%. For example, he led the reimagination of the finance and accounting outsourcing strategy for a tech giant to catalyze innovation, reinvent governance, enhance service quality, and deliver savings of more than 30%.

His background includes business process optimization and outsourcing, IT outsourcing, domestic and international operations and supply chain process improvement. His projects have transformed a multitude of functional areas, including finance, customer service, IT, procurement, contract manufacturing, HR, marketing, and sales. He has worked extensively with all leading outsourcing providers and supported clients across North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia.

He joined West Monroe from Pace Harmon, where he was a managing director. Previously, he held operations and supply chain leadership roles with Nestle USA. He earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Michigan State University.

What makes David different

An avid cyclist and runner, he has competed in two marathons and climbed Mt. Rainier. He enjoys traveling, especially internationally. And when at home in Northern Virginia, he spends time with his wife and three children, enjoying the four full seasons (even if summer is a bit too long) and proximity to the cities of the Northeast.

Where David makes an impact

He is an advocate in the fight to cure childhood cancer. He has been nominated for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Man of the Year, and supports the Wolfpack Childhood Cancer Foundation, an organization co-founded by his wife to provide financial and emotional support to pediatric oncology patients and their families, spread awareness, and raise funds to find cures.
