Few understand the specific challenges of the healthcare industry like those who worked on the front lines. As a registered nurse with more than 30 years of experience, Dawn has training in health plan operations, technology, development, and implementation. Having seen the industry from all sides, she is able to leverage this knowledge to act as a bridge between clinicians, technology, and business partners.
Dawn has the ability to use her experience across multiple health plan lines of business to help her colleagues and clients understand why things are done, what language does or doesn’t work, and how to best convey solutions.
Dawn joined West Monroe in 2017 from Casenet, LLC, where she was a senior clinical product manager. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh.
What makes Dawn different
Dawn and her husband live in a small town west of Pittsburgh. Their 10 acres border on 4,000 acres of state game land. Their two grown children are both music educators and have been replaced by their Chinese Crested Powderpuff dog, Trubble. The couple keeps busy as owners of a brewery, a winery, and a greenhouse business.
Where Dawn makes an impact
A committee member and merit badge counselor for her local Boy Scout troop, Dawn also hosts many free events for non-profit groups. She is a member of the American Association of Managed Care Nurses.
