Deirdre loves to dig in with healthcare clients to solve complex, cross-functional problems with technology and deliver better outcomes for patients, families, and clinicians through technology transformation.
With a focus on hospitals and health systems and expertise at the intersection of business and technology, she especially enjoys using data and analytics to unlock insights that transform care. She has helped health systems drive large-scale transformation within their organizations, including optimizing business processes, implementing enterprise and clinical technology solutions, launching analytics and data science programs, and redefining organizational models.
Prior to joining West Monroe in 2021, she spent more than 15 years with a Big 4 firm’s Life Sciences and Healthcare practice and national Sales Excellence group. As the sales analytics leader for consulting, she developed and deployed machine learning and AI solutions to enhance insights across the business development lifecycle. She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Cornell University.
What makes Deirdre different
She enjoys being active and exploring Southern California’s outdoors with her family and rescue puppy. Some of her favorite activities include hiking, biking, kayaking, barre, and yoga – and discovering great wine. Her sense of adventure takes her outside the U.S. as well – one of her most memorable trips was a recent vacation to India, where she cycled in Dehli and visited Hampi, a UNESCO heritage site.
Where Deirdre makes an impact
She volunteers with several local organizations, including The Brittany Foundation, Donate Life, and Canyon Theater Guild. She is also active in The Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles, serving as a troop leader and conducting professional development for staff. She is a member of Women in Healthcare Administration.
