His combination of utility, industry vendor, and consulting experience creates unique perspectives into how utilities can use new technology to improve reliability, operational efficiency, safety, and affordability.
His areas of specialty include strategy, vendor selection and deployment of new operational technologies in both utility control centers and in the field. He leads our advanced distribution management systems (ADMS) center of excellence.
Before joining West Monroe, Eric managed the Business Applications Grid Technology team for Pacific Gas & Electric Company in California and worked in the utility industry vendor space. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Eric is an avid guitarist, grilling enthusiast, Wisconsin sports fan, and travel buff. He has been to every state in the country.
He and his wife particularly like the variety and quality of Chicago’s dining scene and the endless opportunities to discover something new. They also enjoy spending time with their three cats – Larry, George and Walter—and playing cribbage on their patio.
Eric is always looking for innovations that can unlock business value. For example, he leads our Drone Innovation team, which is developing a digital drone inspection application and strategies for utilities.
