Eric uses his experience leading organizations in a wide variety of industries to deliver tangible results. For example, he led a service desk and end-user support operating model design and sourcing project for one of the nation’s largest hospital networks, delivering over $10 million in annual savings. He directed an IT outsourcing assessment, sourcing, and contracting initiative for a major industrial manufacturer that produced savings in excess of 20% over five years. And his analysis of $8 billion in indirect spend for a Fortune 20 auto manufacturer identified $120 million in annual optimization and savings opportunities across both IT and non-IT categories.
These outcomes are the result of a data-driven decision framework that Eric brings to every client challenge – developed through decades of domestic and international experience in sourcing and procurement, IT outsourcing, spend analysis, program management, and support for mergers and acquisitions.
He joined West Monroe from Pace Harmon, where he was a director. Previously, he was a consultant with the World Bank Group and an Investment Banking Analyst with Citigroup. He earned bachelor’s degrees from the University of Florida and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania – Wharton School.
He has lived and worked in five countries and speaks Swedish, German, and Portuguese. He spent five years in Gothenburg, Sweden, and has also managed projects in Brazil, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.
Away from work, he stays busy keeping up with his three kids. He also enjoys camping, golf, cooking, international travel, and home improvement.
Eric enjoys leading cross-functional teams and helping to develop the careers of new recruits. He has led campus recruiting efforts across five schools and has served as a mentor and career counselor to numerous new hires over the years. He also helps build marketplace eminence through thought leadership and speaking engagements.
