A skilled systems integrator and enterprise architect, George is prepared to lead in complex, high-stakes situations. He’s done that time and time again. He guided IT divestiture planning for a $3.5 billion corporate division of a construction and engineering management firm, transformed IT infrastructure for a national healthcare provider, and upgraded cybersecurity for a $15 billion multinational corporation with 50,000 employees.
He is an analytical, resourceful leader with the unique ability to draw the essence of an issue from among myriad details and then lead teams to accomplish difficult tasks. This enables him to manage a range of IT and cybersecurity transformation projects successfully and deliver solutions with undeniable impact. For example, in a $3 billion acquisition, he identified and delivered over $50 million in synergy savings through integration and restructuring.
He joined West Monroe from Pace Harmon, where he was a director. Previously, he was vice president, chief information security officer, and leader of the IT infrastructure operations team of Jacobs Engineering, a $17 billion multinational engineering firm with 70,000 employees. He earned a degree in zoology and physiology from Louisiana State University.
What makes George different
George holds four master’s degrees in diverse disciplines – including theology, military arts and sciences, and engineering – and is working on a Ph.D. He also enjoys motorcycles and aviation, and earned a pilot’s license at age 17.
Prior to beginning his consulting career, he served 30 years as an enlisted service member, noncommissioned officer, and officer in the United States Army. His last assignment at the Defense Information Systems Agency included enterprise communications architecture responsibility for the White House.

As a member of the United States Air Force Scientific Advisory Board for five years, he provided advice on difficult science and technology issues to senior leaders and participated in various national study panels related to networking to enable coalition operations, space system survivability, and virtual training technologies. He co-authored two national level studies on cyberwarfare.
