Julian strives to help his clients challenge norms and solve issues in innovative ways. He sees that as the path to real results – and has a track record to back that up. For example, he recently worked with a healthcare provider organization to build a direct connection with payers that improve eligibility verification. The solution not only saved 3,000 labor hours and improved clean claims by 10% - it also led to $1 million in additional revenue.
Colleagues and clients look to Julian for his decade-plus of experience in revenue cycle management, electronic medical records (EMR) solutions, and large-scale data conversions.
Before joining West Monroe, he worked in Accenture’s Healthcare practice. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and was a member of the varsity crew team.
What makes Julian different
An avid runner, Julian competes in 5K and 10K races whenever the Chicago weather permits.
Julian particularly enjoys the team aspect of consulting and seizes opportunities to engage colleagues beyond the scope of their projects – whether that means organizing dinners, leading runs after work, or decorating desks for birthdays. He leads the Social Committee for our Healthcare practice in Chicago.
Where Julian makes an impact
Prior to relocating to Chicago from his native Boston, Julian organized activities with the Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center that provided mentoring for first-time college and job applicants. He also volunteered with the local chapter of the National Association of Asian American Professionals.
