Mike is passionate about providing world-class client service and driving value creation through implementing new technologies within the electric and water industries. He drove operational cost savings of more than $100 million while also improving customer service and reliability through implementing a large grid-modernization program.
A high-energy leader, Mike is passionate about helping his team develop professionally and personally and likes to make work fun.
Mike joined West Monroe following several years as an independent consultant to Southern California Edison, where he served in both strategic and tactical roles within the business integration area of SCE’s smart meter implementation, one of the largest programs in the U.S. He has a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University and a master’s degree from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
Mike splits his time between Chicago and Los Angeles. He gets the best of both worlds: the food and sports of Chicago with the weather and natural beauty of Southern California. A former high-school hockey goalie, Mike loves to follow the Blackhawks. He is married with a son and a dog.
Mike is a conference planning committee member of the Western Energy Institute, a trade association that serves the electric and natural gas industries.
