Patrick has always had an uncanny knack for understanding his clients’ needs and creating a multi-discipline team to create an approach to meet his client’s needs. He prides himself on knowing his team’s strengths and leveraging the right resources that can create true value.
He credits relationship building – both with his clients and his colleagues across disciplines – as central to his ability to solve complex business problems. He sees this as a critical stepping-stone to understanding needs.
His proficiency in Salesforce and related technologies – he is a Salesforce certified developer –enables him to work effectively with both business and technical teams to solve problems and build solutions. While he has established a broad base of technology acumen over 20+ years as an IT consultant, he makes it a priority to keep up to date on how new technological advancements can address business needs.
He joined West Monroe as part of its 2015 acquisition of Etherios, a consultancy focused on cloud-based solutions on the Salesforce platform, for which he was a senior account executive. He earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Bradley University.
He strives to connect with clients and colleagues on a personal level – getting to know about their interests, their families, and why they do the jobs they do.
In his spare time, he likes to work out, listen to country music, watch the Chicago Cubs, and listen to podcasts. He and his wife converted their two-flat on Chicago’s north side into a single-family home. It took almost seven years, but they survived the process – barely.
He believes that nothing great has ever been accomplished without enthusiasm. His version of enthusiasm manifests in bringing a jovial disposition to discussions. As he sees it, business can be stressful. If we aren’t having any fun doing it, then what’s the point?
