Patrick enjoys using data and technology to create business impact. He has designed and delivered dozens of valuable dashboards and data analyses – sometimes in just a few business days.
A strong proponent of the importance of bridging the gap between the business and technology, he blends functional expertise and project management abilities with his technical background to guide data visualization and data platform projects. He focuses on understanding all of the pertinent details and the “why” of the work he is delivering, making sure the output meets needs and that every business intelligence or data warehouse project is business-driven.
He believes that bringing a broad set of knowledge to a problem enables a better, more accurate, and more complete solution. So, he looks to his past experience for context to frame any new challenge. He continues to broaden his industry experience while learning new tools to ensure that designs are enabled, not limited, by technology.
He joined West Monroe in 2014 from Hitachi Consulting, where he developed business intelligence solutions. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Indiana University.
What makes Patrick different
Patrick loves bringing people together and is known for coordinating social activities, such as board game nights. He is a big fan of comedy shows and travels as often as possible to as many different types of places as he can.
Where Patrick makes an impact
He is a formal and informal mentor to many junior consultants. He aims to treat everyone as “whole people,” striving to balance their needs, responsibilities, and interests at work and beyond.
As one of West Monroe’s Fischer Global Fellows, he spent four months building schools in Indonesia. He has worked with Habitat for Humanity affiliates in Indiana, Illinois, and Mississippi and has participated in Global Village trips to Macedonia, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam.
