Tyler doesn’t just help healthcare organizations transform to meet the demands of an evolving market—he helps orchestrates change that delivers tangible value. How? By making sure his solutions are grounded in quantifiable return on investment, so that providers are best equipped to fulfill their patient-driven missions. He recently advised a multistate home health and hospice organization as it redesigned key business processes in preparation for the largest overhaul to the Medicare reimbursement formula in 20 years, ensuring continuity of cash flow. The project is on pace to deliver a 10-times return on investment over three years. He also enabled a national anesthesia billing services provider to boost profitability by optimizing processes and a national medical services provider to identify $3.5 million (17%) in cost savings.
His experience spans the healthcare ecosystem, with specific focus on provider organizations and those who service them. He has built and managed a call center, implemented healthcare software, and integrated the sales cycles of two separate companies. He has also advised on nearly 100 healthcare mergers and acquisitions, specializing in technology and competitive/market assessments.
Prior to joining West Monroe, he worked at Cancer Treatment Centers of America and its subsidiaries. He contributed to planning and establishing a subsidiary designed to grow oncology care operations. He earned a bachelor’s degree from DePauw University.
Hailing from Indiana, Tyler grew up during the heyday of Indiana collegiate and professional basketball, so it’s no surprise to find him catching a game whenever the chance arises. Now a Chicago resident, he has learned to tolerate the city’s winter months in exchange for some of the greatest summer weather anywhere.
He’s always willing to roll up his sleeves and collaborate in the trenches to make sure transformational initiatives are implemented effectively.
