For payers and providers, modern IT architecture is at the center of digital transformation that makes operations more efficient, growth-oriented, and capable of delivering affordable and accessible healthcare. That’s where Vinay comes in. For a national payer, he developed a cloud strategy that positioned the organization for market expansion through acquisitions and organic growth estimated at 3-5% increase in annual membership. And for a multi-state BSBS plan, he built a clinical data exchange architecture using hybrid cloud architecture that enabled ingestion of around 1 million clinical records per day.
Much of his professional career has been dedicated to creating cohesive technology roadmaps that optimize cost in non-differentiating capabilities while driving growth through market differentiators. He has extensive background working at the intersection of healthcare plans and healthcare providers, developing collaboration strategies through value-based care models, enhanced clinical data exchange capabilities, and cloud architectures that enable data sharing and greater agility. He also has expertise in merger and acquisition due diligence, IT cost transformation, and IT governance.
Before to joining West Monroe in 2021, he was a director with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Health Industry Advisories practice. He earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Mumbai and a master’s degree from Cornell University.
What makes Vinay different
He spends his weekends trying to perfect each cup of chai and then sharing it with friends and family. He enjoys pick-up soccer games, preparing healthy Indian meals for his family, and weightlifting. He is actively trying to squat 325 pounds.
