West Monroe Partners, a North American business and technology consulting firm, today announced that Andrew Smith has joined the firm’s Chicago office as a managing director.
Smith joined West Monroe from Protiviti, where he was managing director of their Central Region IT Solutions. He adds depth and leadership in IT strategy, IT operations management, IT governance and project management, data center services, infrastructure services management, IT risk management, security, disaster recovery, and custom application development. He also has extensive experience working with clients in the banking, insurance, healthcare, telecommunications, manufacturing, higher education, and retail industries.

Previously, Smith was managing director of BearingPoint’s US Central Region Infrastructure solutions practice and a partner in Arthur Andersen’s Business Consulting Technology Integration practice. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science/Math from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
