Dan Rosanova achieves 2012 Microsoft MVP Award

The Microsoft MVP Award in the BizTalk category is given to exceptional technical leaders in the community who actively share their high quality, real world expertise with others. Dan is 1 of only 34 in the world recognized by Microsoft as one of the best and brightest in the BizTalk category.

West Monroe Partners, a North American business and technology consulting firm, today announced Dan Rosanova, a senior architect in the Technology Integration practice, was granted the Microsoft® MVP Award for BizTalk Server for the third time.

To receive the Microsoft MVP Award, nominees undergo a formal review process. A panel that includes members of the MVP team and Microsoft product groups evaluates each nominee's technical expertise and voluntary community contributions for the past 12 months. Dan provided many answers in community forums, ran a monthly Chicago BizTalk User Group (CBUG), contributed content to Microsoft’s MSDN site, wrote a BizTalk book and blogged dozens of times over 2011 to receive the accolade.

Dan published BizTalk Server 2010 Patterns recently in October 2011. The book provides a thorough introduction to BizTalk Server 2010 as a platform and guides readers through real world lessons and examples that will help them build an advanced unified solution that can be used as reference architecture.

Dan has over twelve years of experience delivering solutions on Microsoft platforms in the financial services, insurance, banking, telecommunications, and logistics industries, where he has specialized in high volume and low latency distributed applications. Dan has extensive experience with .NET, XML, services, and queuing.
