EY Announces Kevin McCarty of West Monroe Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2018 Award Finalist in the Midwest

CHICAGO – EY announced that Kevin McCarty, president and CEO of West Monroe Partners, is a finalist for the Entrepreneur Of The Year^® 2018 Award in the Midwest. The awards program recognizes entrepreneurs who are excelling in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. McCarty was nominated by a sponsoring firm of the award program and subsequently selected as a finalist by a panel of independent judges. Award winners will be announced at a black-tie gala on June 13 at Navy Pier Grand Ballroom in Chicago.  

In 2002, McCarty co-founded West Monroe and, serving as president and CEO, he leads the firm of more than 950 professionals in 10 offices across the United States. He also continues to serve clients embarking on large-scale transformational initiatives as well as clients pursuing mergers and acquisitions.

Throughout his career, McCarty has led innovative projects for some of the largest global companies and upper middle-market challengers, as well as mission-driven and non-profit associations. Kevin also has been at the forefront of innovation in the industry, having played an instrumental role in creating a unique and recognized specialty in IT and operational due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. Over the past decade, West Monroe has applied this expertise in more than 2,000 deals for hundreds of strategic and financial buyers representing $100+ billion in transaction value.

Prior to assuming the role of president in 2012, Kevin served as managing director of West Monroe’s Chicago office and also provided oversight for all of the office’s industry teams. He is a board member of HFS Chicago scholars, a member of the Forbes Technology Council, and The Chicago Club.
