NEW YORK CITY – West Monroe Partners, a national business and technology consultancy, today announced that Keith Swiat, Chuck Greiner, and Ross Kiddie have joined the firm’s New York City office as directors. They will join leadership in West Monroe's Technology, Customer Experience, and Energy & Utilities practices, respectively. The three new directors add extensive credentials and strong track records for applying technology to business needs. Their additions bolster established and rapidly growing practices and increase West Monroe’s capacity to meet client demand across the Northeast.
In New York, as we have nationally, West Monroe has built successful, thriving Technology, Customer Experience, and Energy & Utilities practices with capabilities that are vital to delivering our uncommon blend of business acumen and deep technology expertise,” said Gil Mermelstein, managing director of the New York Office. “Keith Swiat, Chuck Greiner, and Ross Kiddie bring accomplished credentials and substantial experience to our office and our clients that will help us sustain our rapid growth.
Swiat, a recognized cybersecurity leader, has more than 20 years of experience fortifying organizations against the constantly changing cyber-threat landscape. He works with clients to identify their greatest strategic risks and then strengthen system controls, policies, and procedures surrounding access, segregation of duties, monitoring procedures, and other areas. He joins West Monroe from RSM US LLP, where he was a director in the Security and Privacy Services practice and practice leader for the Northeast region.
“Over my career, I have come to recognize that the most effective approach for strengthening an organization’s security posture is to attain rather than obtain security – that is, to invest in the right strategy for managing the threat landscape and protect the business over time, not just at a particular point in time. An effective cybersecurity program is more about culture than product,” Swiat said. “West Monroe shares this view and has built a highly effective team and offerings. I look forward to new opportunities to lend my skills and experience to help clients secure their businesses and their futures.”
Greiner, who specializes in Salesforce customer relationship management (CRM) solutions, has nearly 20 years of experience as a consultant and corporate executive. A certified Salesforce administrator, consultant, and developer, he applies extensive knowledge of cloud technology to help organizations understand the benefits of moving to cloud solutions and develop practical goals, timelines, and roadmaps for meeting business objectives. He joins West Monroe from Accenture, where he was a director responsible for managing delivery of complex, global, multi-track and multi-vendor Salesforce and CRM solutions for North American financial services clients.
“A well-crafted Salesforce solution is at the heart of customer experience, because having the right data and platform empowers an organization to deliver that experience,” Greiner said. “I am impressed by West Monroe’s capabilities and the advanced and innovative nature of the work it is doing in the market as a Salesforce Platinum partner.”
Kiddie has nearly 30 years of experience working with utility companies, executives, and customers across North America. His most recent focus has been addressing the business and technical implications associated with the orchestration, evolution, and transformation of the industry from a one-way directional network to a two-way distributed energy resource market structure with new business models. Prior to joining West Monroe, he was an independent industry consultant and vice president of ICF International’s Commercial Energy Division, where he worked with utilities to evolve and adapt toward new customer-centric business models.
“West Monroe’s practice provides a unique fit with my personal focus on the various aspects of transforming the utility model to accommodate distributed energy resources in an efficient and economic manner,” Kiddie said. “I am excited to join a team of professionals who understand the dynamics of the market and the direction of the industry.”
West Monroe’s New York City office increased its workforce by more than 35 percent in 2017 to meet demand locally and across the East Coast. Crain’s New York has named the firm to its list of “Best Places to Work in New York City” for the past three years.
