West Monroe Partners, a full-service North American business and technology consultancy, today announced that Brent Breithaupt and Mark Williams have joined the firm as directors in its Advanced Analytics practice, based in the firm’s Chicago office. Both executives bring extensive experience with innovative, technology-enabled analytics and business intelligence solutions that deliver strategic insight and advance global business goals.
“Across industries, our clients are seeking to unlock the value of their data to enhance performance and create advantage, and the significant attention around big data and predictive analytics is creating urgency for them to act,” said Greg Layok, senior director and leader of West Monroe Partners’ Technology and Advanced Analytics practices. “In Brent Breithaupt and Mark Williams, we gain skilled consultants, leaders, and innovators with consummate track records for delivering high-value, pragmatic advanced analytics solutions.”
Breithaupt joins West Monroe Partners from Perficient, Inc., a technology consulting firm focused on leading enterprise software solutions, for which he was director and leader of the IBM Business Analytics practice. His more than 18 years of experience in management consulting and technology implementation also includes previous roles with JCB Partners, LLC, a consultancy focused on performance management and business analytics enterprise software solutions (acquired by Perficient in 2011), InStranet, LLC, and Draft/FCB.
“The analytics landscape is evolving rapidly, and the path to creating a data-driven organization can be difficult to navigate. Experience is key to cutting through the ‘noise’ and setting a practical plan in motion,” said Breithaupt. “West Monroe Partners has done an outstanding job of attracting top analytics talent and assembling a team capable of using data and technology to transform businesses.”
Williams joins West Monroe Partners from Analytics8, LLC, for which he was vice president of data management and analytics. Previously, he was founder and CEO of two consultancies: EdSpectrum, LLC, a technology-based consultancy for public education systems that included cloud-based, ready-made data warehouses with comprehensive analytics; and Executive Intelligence, LLC, a business intelligence consulting firm specializing in complex pattern-finding and predictive analysis, hosted data warehouse design, and implementation.
“West Monroe Partners’ unique blend of technology and business acumen has created a winning formula for bringing together traditional information management, big data, and predictive analytics to drive greater value from data,” said Williams. “This is a tremendous opportunity to be part of a team that is making a real impact for our clients.”
