West Monroe Partners, a full-service North American business and technology consultancy, today announced that Danny Freeman, director in the firm’s Energy and Utility practice, has been recognized in the Energy category among the top consultants under the age of 35 by Consulting Magazine.
Since joining West Monroe Partners in 2007, Danny has become a leading authority in grid modernization implementations, currently helping two of the biggest electric utilities in the country on their respective billion plus dollar transformational programs. His extensive experience in the industry focuses on helping utilities design, implement, and operate new infrastructure, tools, and technologies to drive innovative customer programs, enhance operating capabilities, and empower an energy marketplace aligned with the evolving energy resource landscape.
“Danny’s blended focus on people, clients, and communities has been a recipe for success,” said Tom Hulsebosch, leader of the firm’s Energy and Utilities practice. “His ability to partner with energy clients to define their ‘grid modernization’ vision and embark on transformational initiatives to manage innovation and change at today’s pace is remarkable.”
“I am honored for having been selected for this award, which is a strong reflection of our firm’s culture and commitment to personal and professional development,” said Danny. “I have had the help of some outstanding mentors, a talented team of consultants, and great client partners that I am fortunate to work with on a daily basis. I am very grateful for the challenging and exciting opportunities I have had throughout my time at West Monroe.”
Danny earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management.
Consulting magazine profiles Danny and the other 34 “Rising Stars of the Profession” in its June issue. He will receive his award at an April 27 awards dinner in Chicago.
