West Monroe Partners, a full-service North American business and technology consulting firm, today announced that it has been named one of the Chicago Tribune’s Top Workplaces 2014. The report ranked West Monroe Partners 3rd among 35 midsize companies evaluated. West Monroe was one of 100 employers recognized in the annual workplace report, released November 13th, a combined effort between the Chicago Tribune and its partner, Workplace Dynamics LLC, to identify the Chicago-land area’s best places to work.
“We are thrilled to be recognized among top employers in the area and are tremendously proud of the growing team we have established over the last 12 years,” said Doug Armstrong, West Monroe Partners’ Managing Director and Chicago office lead. “Our sustained growth, even in an established market such as Chicago, has been vital to create an outstanding work environment and culture. Our people-first approach allows our people to dare to be great and challenge each other and themselves to be even better.”
Opened in 2002, the Chicago office today has more than 300 employees and serves more than 150 local clients in key industries, including banking, private equity, insurance, healthcare, utilities, and retail. The Chicago office continues to grow rapidly, experiencing a 62.5%-percent increase in revenue over the past two years. To meet continued strong growth projections, the firm plans significant local hiring including campus graduates, and further diversification of its industry capabilities and credentials.
The Top Workplaces are selected solely on employee feedback. The employee survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading organizational health and employee engagement research firm. WorkplaceDynamics conducts regional Top Workplaces programs with 40 major publishing partners across the United States.
Winners were honored at an awards ceremony at the Hyatt Regency on November 13th and The Chicago Tribune published the complete list of Top Workplaces on November 14th in a special edition insert.
