West Monroe Partners Provides Pro-bono Strategy Services for Seattle Repertory Theatre

West Monroe Partners, a North American business and technology consulting firm, today announced that it has provided pro-bono strategy and planning services for Seattle Repertory Theatre. West Monroe Partners helped Seattle Repertory Theatre synthesize extensive data gathered through past planning efforts, assess current operations, and develop an action plan for strengthening its governance processes and audience experience.

In addition to assessing key areas of the theatre’s operations, West Monroe Partners also applied expertise in customer experience to guide Seattle Repertory Theatre executives through a workshop designed to understand key audience segments and define ways to enhance their experience and interactions with the organization.

“We are pleased to contribute core strategy and customer experience skills, as well as our time, to assist Seattle Repertory Theatre, a cornerstone of our local community for many years,” said Tom Bolger, leader of West Monroe Partners’ Seattle office. “Social responsibility and building vibrant communities is very important to West Monroe and to our people, and working with the Rep to enable its services and growth is one way that we are able to give back.”

“West Monroe Partners’ broad experience with non-profits and membership-based organizations, including other prominent organizations in our Pacific Northwest community, has been very valuable to us as we look to strengthen our ability to engage and serve all of our constituents,” said Benjamin Moore, managing director for Seattle Repertory Theatre. “Just as valuable as helping us develop a practical plan for executing our strategy was West Monroe’s ability to engage and build consensus among a very diverse set of stakeholders.”

West Monroe Partners announced an ambitious social and environmental responsibility commitment in early 2011. Following on the leadership efforts of its clients and business partners, West Monroe strives to contribute one percent of its talent in pro-bono work, one percent of its profits in donations to qualifying organizations, and one percent of its collective personnel time to community engagement and leadership activities. Locally, it has provided pro-bono services to support prominent non-profit organizations including the Woodland Park Zoo, Abused Deaf Women’s Advocacy Services (ADWAS), and the YMCA of Greater Seattle.
