Consultancy rises to #2 among small companies, receives special award for communication.
West Monroe has been recognized among the “Top 100 Places to Work in Dallas-Fort Worth” by the Dallas Morning News for the second straight year. The firm moved up nine spots to No. 2 among small companies – defined as fewer than 150 local employees – on this year’s list.
West Monroe was also one of 12 companies to receive a Special Award in 2020, topping all 100 companies for Best Communication. This reflects efforts to keep more than 70 local employees connected and productive during the pandemic. Among other approaches to stay connected and maintain engagement, the Dallas office increased one-on-one discussions over the past months.
“Communication was a priority for West Monroe even before the pandemic. It is fundamental to our value of being people-first, as well as to maintaining the unique level of collaboration that differentiates us in the marketplace,” said Adam Gersting, Dallas office Lead. “It is a privilege to be included among the region’s top employers and especially gratifying because our ranking and recognition is the result of feedback from our people."
I am extremely proud of our team, which has rallied this year to reinvent the way we work with each other and with clients through virtual channels. While physically distanced, we have become more socially connected in these times. ”
Like all West Monroe locations, the Dallas office maintains a highly participatory and collaborative culture marked by frequent meetings and gatherings, a strong commitment to serving the local community through its social responsibility program, motivation to innovate and contribute new ideas, and regular recognition awards. In April 2020, West Monroe ranked No. 4 on the list of Best Workplaces in Texas, published by Great Place to Work®.
Nationally, West Monroe has received 26 awards in 2020 for its workplace culture and the achievements of its employees. It has been recognized as a leading workplace by Consulting Magazine and Great Place to Work® Institute/FORTUNE.
The Dallas Morning News and its research partner, Energage, use an employee survey to determine the companies on the Top 100 Places to Work list. Once a company has applied to be on the list, its employees then complete an anonymous assessment that rates their employer on leadership, compensation, training, workplace flexibility, diversity, and other areas. This year, nearly 2,400 companies applied to be a Dallas Morning News Top 100 Place to Work, and 155,000 people across these companies completed surveys.
